Board of Trustees elects new Board Chair

At the July SCC Board of Trustees meeting, Henry Edmund relinquished his position as chair of the board after six years of service.

“I have certainly enjoyed the past six years being the board chair with such a fine group of trustees and SCC administrators,” Edmund said. “I will continue to contribute my energy and my efforts to see that we remain on the road to meeting student and community expectations.”

The board elected Jack Hooks to serve as its new chair, Joe Hooks as vice-chair and Emma Shaw as secretary.
