Foundation Raises over $31,000 at Athletics Fundraiser

Wednesday, April 27th, 2022

The Southeastern Community College Foundation raised over $31,000 at the inaugural President’s Ball.

The $31,000 comes after a fundraising event that was held on April 9, at the Farm at Union Valley with over 200 guests in attendance. Dinner, a silent auction, and a live band made for a great night.

Net proceeds will go to support SCC athletics.

Terrie Priest, Director of the SCC Foundation said, ““Thank you to our amazing sponsors and guests who supported the President’s Ball. It was a fabulous event celebrating SCC Athletics and we already have exciting plans for next year.

The Presidents Ball is unique in its efforts to select a different area of the college that may need funding. The 2022 President’s Ball raised funding for athletics, but next year will be different.
