Monday, November 11th, 2019

Southeastern Community College Foundation is excited to announce Leigh Duncan as the guest speaker at the Christmas Luncheon held at Vineland Station on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11:30 a.m.

Duncan is the award-winning author of more than two dozen novels, novellas and short stories. An Amazon best-selling author and a National Readers’ Choice Award winner, Leigh lives on Florida’s East Coast where she writes women’s fiction and sweet, contemporary romance with a dash of Southern sass.

She sold her first, full length novel, The Officer’s Girl, in 2010. Duncan went on to write seven more books including her very popular Christmas book, Rancher’s Son, the first book in her Glades Country Cowboys Series. In addition to these heartwarming romances, she wrote more complex and emotional stories such as, The Orange Blossom Series and Pattern of Deceit, which have resonated with her readers.

In 2017, Hallmark asked her to help kick off their new line of movies with Journey Back to Christmas, a novelization based on one of Hallmark’s most popular Christmas movies. Soon after, Duncan began writing the brand new Heart’s Landing series for Hallmark. These books will launch in the Spring of 2020 with A Simple Wedding and A Cottage Wedding.

Tickets are available for purchase. Tickets are $35/person or you can purchase a table of 8 for $250. Lunch to be served. There will be books available for purchase at the event or you can bring your own copies to have signed. Book signing will start at 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Proceeds from this event will go towards the SCC Success Scholarship.

Highlighted by Leigh Duncan.
