THE CAUSE

As part of SCC’s strategic plan, the Health and Wellness committee is charged with creating and maintaining a culture that supports and promotes the overall health and wellness of students, employees, and the community. Columbus Regional Healthcare System strives to work continually to improve the health and quality of life for whom they serve. As part of their values, they contribute health services, education, time and leadership to the community so that it can thrive. Together, SCC and CRHS are proud to make a difference in our community.

This year, a fun health fair will be hosted on campus during the 5K event to bring awareness to not only colon cancer, but to resources available in or around Columbus County. From children’s activities and vendors to adult resources and a DJ, there will be something for all ages. Food, drinks, and other items will be available for purchase from vendors.
