At Southeastern Community College, we understand that the pursuit of education can come with financial challenges. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our commitment to assisting current students impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. SCC is dedicated to supporting you in achieving your educational goals, and we’re excited to provide funding from the remaining HEERF resources for students enrolled in Fall 2023 classes.
Your Opportunity for Financial Relief
The past couple of years have been challenging for many, and we want to ensure that nothing stands in the way of your educational journey. SCC’s HEERF Funding is designed to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with your student account bills and other college expenses. We believe that when you can focus on your education, your potential knows no bounds.
Limited Funds – Act Now
It’s important to act swiftly as these funds are limited. Awards will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. This opportunity can make a significant difference in your academic journey.
Sheila Dockery, our Director of Financial Aid, shares her excitement about this initiative, stating, “This is an excellent opportunity for our students. This additional funding will help relieve some of our students’ burdens and help them focus on what truly matters – their education.”
Who Qualifies for HEERF Funding?
These funds are available to a wide range of students, including traditional curriculum students, continuing education students enrolled in 96+ hour programs, and high school students who are taking SCC college classes. We are committed to making sure everyone has the opportunity to benefit from this program.
