Winter Wonderland Event at SCC

Beat the winter time blues by joining Southeastern Community College for a Winter Wonderland. Come out to SCC and enjoy a fun “winter lap”, frosty freeze fundraiser, games, food trucks, live music from Kindred featuring Ryleigh Madison and Dustin Chapman, and more. You may even see some snow!

When: Saturday, February 4, 2023
Where: Southeastern Community College – outdoor event
Time: 9am – 2pm
Hosted by: SCC Ambassadors
Admission: FREE

Winter Lap

Children and their guardians are invited to participate in a mini-lap that promotes health and wellness. Children are invited to walk, run, bicycle, scooter, roller blade, etc. This is a safe, flat surface circle. Participants will receive completion certificates.
*Children that are on wheels HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET. Elbow and knee pads are encouraged.

Frosty Freeze

The Frosty Freeze is a fundraiser that will directly benefit SCC programming within the SCC Ambassador program. Six Columbus County Celebrities are taking the plunge, but you can save one! Each participant will be fundraising to get “saved from freezing.” You can donate online here to save your favorite celebrity! Make sure to include the participant you want to make the donation for in the comments section. Watch the other five take the plunge in the arctic cold water.

9 am – 10 am – Winter Wonder Lap
10 am – 11 am – Frosty Freeze
10 am – 2 pm – All crafts, activities, games, vendors, Silent Auction, etc.
11 am – 1 pm – Kindred featuring Ryleigh Madison and Dustin Chapman
11 am – 2 pm – Food Trucks
