Personal Interest

Our personal interest is designed to make your life more interesting, give you something new to do, and have fun along the way. Whether it’s painting or learning photography skills, SCC has plenty of Personal Interest classes to choose from.

Defensive Driving

Become safer on the highway and reduce or prevent points on your driver’s license and insurance policy.

SCC offers two courses to address safe driving techniques – Defensive Driving (4 hours) and Defensive Driving (8 hours).


General Information

Enrollment is open on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Classes are open to everyone age 18 and above. Sixteen and 17-year-olds may enroll with special permission.
  • Registration and fee payment is required at the first scheduled meeting of the class. Insurance is required for some classes.
  • Southeastern also provides on-site job skills training and literacy classes for area businesses and industries.
